DIN17100 USt37-2 (1.0036) material is a carbon structural quality steel grade complies with DIN 17100: 1980.
It is mainly being used for general mechanical engineering like welded structures, riveted structures and screwed structural components.
According to German standard DIN 17100, St37 steel is divided into St37-2, USt37-2 carbon structural steel angle, RSt37-2 and St37-3. Material St 37 new designation is S235, and St37-2 new designation is S235JR (1.0038), the new standard is EN 10025-2: 2004.
